Youth Lift West Carms District Cup to end season

Wanderers youth came out on top in hard fought battle with local rivals Felinfoel. Both Teams trying there hardest to break each other down in a defensive game of cat and mouse . Foel nearly snuck an early try with a great move looking to be scored in the corner but outside center Sam Austin produced a try saving tackle on the forcing foel into touch , from the resulting lineout the Wanderers cleared there lines. The first score went to Foel with the Wanderers gave away a kickable Penalty.

Wanderers leveled quickly with Lewis Jones kicking his first of three Penalties. Both sides tried to attack with both defenses holding firm however it was Foel who transgressed twice more giving Lewis Jones to slot home a further 6 points to take the match to 9-3 . Foel threw everything at the Wanderers third years Jordan Evans and Leon Randal came off the bench and made significant impact for Foel but the Wanderers defence kept ther shape and tackled everything that Foel threw at them.

It was the dogged defence and the teams resolve to hold Foel out that saw them through to take the cup for a second time in three seasons to complete the season 

Captain Joe Hope collected the cup From Former Welsh International and British Lion  Ryan Jones to the Cheers of the team and the supporters .
